Metroline Travel Ltd scheme underway

Work commenced on the new Cricklewood Bus Garage facility for Metroline Travel Ltd in August 2007 by Fitzpatrick Contractors Ltd with Goring Berry acting as Employer's Agent/Quantity Surveyors for Metroline. The new scheme provides for a four storey office unit incorporating driver facilities and head office space with an attached maintenance workshop with space for ten buses. Externally, the site will provide re-fuelling, bus washing and on-site parking for 200 buses. The building has designed with sustainability issues in mind including ground source heat pumps, a green roof, solar heating panels and rainwater harvesting. Phase 1 is due for completion by July 2008 with the final section due for completion in December 2008
