I joined Goring Berry in April 2006, having worked for a year in a local quantity surveying firm after leaving college. My role here is varied month-to-month which is great as I have a lot to learn.
The Partners, Associates and other practice personnel are always ready to assist my development, by sharing their knowledge and introduce me to their clients on various projects. They are also helping financially support my continuing professional development as I complete my studies with Reading University and my professional RICS assessments.
Currently I am working on projects in the residential and leisure sectors up to a value of £1m, mostly looking at cost estimates, tender documentation, tender appraisals, tender negotiations, contract documentation, valuations, cost reporting and final accounts.
